The nol card

The nol card enables you to pay for the use of various RTA transport modes in Dubai with a single tap. You need to use a nol card to travel via metro, buses, tram and marine transport modes. In addition to that, you can also use the nol card to pay for RTA’s paid parking and your groceries(at certain stores) and much more.

Dubai metro

Dubai’s metro system is an efficient and convenient way to reach the Dubai World Trade Centre. With its own dedicated station, the metro provides easy access to the venue. The trains are fully air-conditioned, clean, and quiet, running frequently from 5 am to 11 pm. Simply use a Nol Card, available at any station, for a smooth and quick journey. For additional convenience, you can also combine your metro ride with Dubai’s extensive bus network.

Dubai Taxi

Metered taxis are a convenient and reliable way to travel to the Dubai World Trade Centre. With over 5,300 taxis available, hailing one is quick and easy. All drivers are familiar with the venue, and female passengers can opt for Ladies-only taxis if preferred. Taxis can be booked in advance by calling +971 4 208 0808. Fares start at 5 AED, or 12 AED for pre-booked taxis, and most taxis now accept credit card payments for added convenience.

 

Private Taxi (Careem and Uber)

Dubai offers convenient private taxi services through Careem and Uber, both of which are easily accessible via their mobile apps. You can pre-book rides and choose from various car options, including eco-friendly and oversized vehicles. If you’re already using the Careem or Uber app in another country, you can simply use it in Dubai. The apps also provide flexible payment options, accepting both credit cards and cash. Pick-up and drop-off locations are clearly marked around the Dubai World Trade Centre for added convenience.

 

Driving and parking

If you’re driving to the Dubai World Trade Centre, you’ll find plenty of parking options available. With six paid parking lots, two free lots, and convenient valet services, there’s no need to worry about finding a spot. DWTC is easily accessible from Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai’s main highway, ensuring smooth access from all parts of the city and beyond. The venue also offers over 7,500 parking spaces, including dedicated spots for electric vehicles, complete with charging stations.

Getting to the venue from the airport

Dubai Metro (Red Line)

The Dubai Metro operates a convenient and affordable way to reach the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Route: Red Line, heading towards UAE Exchange.

Stop: World Trade Centre Station (Exit directly to the venue).

The metro operates from 5:00 AM to midnight on weekdays, and until 1:00 AM on weekends.

Taxi Services

Taxis are available directly outside both terminals at Dubai Airport. You can also book a taxi via the Uber or Careem apps.

The journey to the Dubai World Trade Centre typically takes around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
